Very saddened to learn that Lawrence Santoro passed away last night. I never met him in person but was able to interact with him when my short stories was accepted to be read on the Tales To Terrify podcast he hosted. He was so kind and friendly during all our interactions that I felt I’d known him for years. We conversed a little about how he modeled his sign-off at the end of each episode an homage to some of the old time radio programs. We later talked a bit about favorite Christmas-themed horror stories. I remember how I felt when I got the notification he had “Liked” my Facebook author page. He being such a consummate professional, I felt undeserving but deeply honored by the gesture.
He was a writer, director, filmmaker and podcaster and you could tell he loved what he did. He will be sorely missed. Condolences go out to his wife, Tycelia and the rest of his family and friends.
