I’ve previously posted here about my movie review column that made its debute in the new science fiction journal Black Infinity from Tom English and Dead Letter Press. What I haven’t mentioned much about is all the other contributions this impressive first volume has to offer.
You’ll find a full novel by Harry Harrison, two columns ( Threat Watch by me and How Weird Is That? by Todd Treichel ), seven short stories from the likes of Simon Strantzas, Douglas Smith, and Jerry Sohl to name a few, as well as a comic book from the King, Jack Kirby. There’s also lots of excellent artwork scattered throughout from H.R. Van Dongen, L.N. Rognan, Jack Gaughan, and Kurt Roschl, not to mention the outstanding cover art by Ed Valigursky. Below I’ve included a few pictures of the interior to give you a indication of the amazing quality of this inexpensive journal.
It’s available for just $9.75 at the time of this posting from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Black-Infinity-Deadly-Planets-Magazine/dp/099669367X

It is *clearly* worth the money. Both money and time well-spent.
Thanks, Barry. Tom did a fantastic job with it. His love for the genre really shines through.
