NIGHTMARE ABBEY #3 NOW AVAILABLE

Issue #3 of Nightmare Abbey Magazine is now available from Dead Letter Press. Edited by Tom English, it includes short stories by Steve Duffy, David Surface, John Llewellyn Probert, Helen Grant, Gary Fry, Ray Cluley, Ian Rogers, James Dorr, Gregory L. Norris, Darrell Schweitzer plus a few older classics by the likes of Perceval Landon, E. F. Benson, Maurice Level and Basil Tozer. In addition to his short story, John Llewellyn Probert also writes about the 1962 horror film, Night of the Eagle. The cover art of this issue by Allen Koszowski is gorgeous and there’s plenty more of his magnificent illustrations peppered generously throughout. Nightmare Abbey offers up a feast for the eyes alongside the terrifying narrative chills presented by its stories.

I should add that I also return with the next installment of my column, Matt Cowan’s Horror Delve. This time I look at thirteen of my all time favorite haunted house short stories. These tales range from having been published as early as 1859 to as late as 2020, so it’s a good mix of classic and modern tales.
