Issue #3 of Black Infinity Magazine is now available for purchase. The theme for this issue is Body Snatchers! Alien Control, Possession and/or Replacement. As always, it’s bursting at the seams with both new and classic weird/science fiction stories, columns, artwork, pictures and a vintage comic book tale. Every issue begins with an excellent article that explores the overall theme of the issue from editor/publisher, Tom English. These are always great and superbly set the mood for what’s to come.
Lurking amidst all this is my own retro-movie review column, Matt Cowan’s Threat Watch. For this outing I examine six films that fit with the issues theme spanning from the early 1950’s through to the mid-90’s. Invasion of the Body Snatchers, 5 Million Years To Earth (also known as Quartermass and the Pit), and John Carpenter’s The Thing are a few of the movies I explore.
